Gingerbread Chocolate Chip Protein Balls (vegan + paleo, nut free opt.)

These babies are extremely tasty and extremely simple to make, a 10/10 snack idea/post workout if you ask me ;)





THE RECIPE:

yields: 11-12 balls

prep time: 10 min

total time: 10 min

Ingredients:

2 tbsp liquid oil (melted coconut, evoo, etc)

1/4 cup nut or seed butter or choice

1 tbsp molasses

1/2 cup + 2 tbsp almond flour (can sub gf oat flour)

3 tbsp protein powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl mix together the oil, nut/seed butter, and molasses

2. Add in the almond flour, protein powder, salt, ginger, and cinnamon. Then add in the chocolate chips

3. Mix until combined and roll the dough into small/medium balls (mine made 11) enjoy! (I recommend keeping these in the fridge, but do as you please!)
